The Angelina College Roadrunners on Tuesday took a break from conference play to take on the Jarvis Christian College JV, and the ‘Runners got a ton of help from their role players in a 94-66 win at Shands Gymnasium.

AC’s bench accounted for 64 of the team’s 94 points, with Braxton Foreman leading the way with 17 points. Foreman was one of five Roadrunners scoring in double figures: Deon’ta Lagway scored a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds; and Yosani Clay, Deedy Gauno and Hunter Janacek added 10 points each. Dewitz added three steals, and AC out-rebounded the Bulldogs by a 49-23 margin.

Jarvis College’s JaJuan White and Andrew Carrizales each scored 18 points for the Bulldogs.

The Roadrunners (10-12, 4-7) get back to business in conference play on Saturday. AC will play at Jacksonville College at 4 p.m.
